Good evening. The winds roared across the region today. The Tri-Cities Airport had a wind gust of 37 mph with a high today of 71 degrees.
The Camp Creek area of Greene County, Tennessee recorded wind gusts close to 76 mph.
Take a look at some of the other wind gusts from across the area.
Wind Warning and Wind Advisories remain in effect through tonight.
Low pressure will bring clouds, rain and much cooler air to the area over the next two days.

5 AM Friday – Clouds and rain are forecast for the region.
9 AM Friday – Cloudy and breezy with scattered showers.
1 PM Friday – The low pressure spins into the area with cloudy skies and rain.
4 PM Friday – Cloudy with showers and possible thunderstorms along with chilly temperatures.
We will keep this area of low pressure over us into Saturday.
8:15 AM Saturday – Scattered showers and chilly temperatures are forecast for the region.
6 PM Saturday – A cold front will move into the region from the northwest. this will bring showers and storms to the area with the possibility for small hail.
5 PM Sunday – a cold front pushes south of the area clearing our skies.
