A cold front will keep the threat of showers and storms through early Wednesday

Good Afternoon!  Happy Spring! ! !

We continue to see clouds streaming into the area thanks to a cold front well of to our northwest and a strong southwesterly air flow.  Take a look at the current satellite imagery from NOAA.  You can see the complex of storms off to our north and west.  some of this moisture will move into our area tonight and tomorrow.

Temperatures will stay mild with scattered showers and storms Tuesday then again over the weekend.

Take a look at the forecast maps:

8 PM Tonight – Scattered showers and storms possible.

Midnight Tonight:  Watching showers and storms moving into the area from the north.

8 AM Tuesday – Scattered showers with cloudy skies.

1 PM Tuesday – Cloudy with a chance of scattered showers and storms.

6 PM Tuesday:  Scattered showers and storms are possible with a cold front moving into the area.

The Severe Weather Threat will be just to our south and west on Tuesday.  We could see a few thunderstorms across the region.

8 PM Tuesday – Clouds and scattered showers will be possible with a few storms.

Wednesday morning the front moves south, but we will keep the threat for a few scattered showers on Wednesday.

Cloudy skies are possible Wednesday night.

We have a mild weekend on the way with another round of showers and thunderstorms.
