Freeze Warning tonight with scattered showers Friday – Warmer!

Thursday, March 16, 2017 –

Good afternoon!  It has been a beautiful, but cool afternoon.

A Freeze Warning is in effect again tonight.

Look at this satellite imagery from NOAA as you can see our next weather system to our west.  Clouds increase late tonight.

Here is a look at your day planer for Friday:

The good news, temperatures are warming!

Take a look at our forecast maps for tonight through early Saturday.  Rain chances increase late in the day.

2 AM Friday – Clouds move in from the west.

7 AM Friday – Skies become mostly cloudy.

Noon Friday – Scattered showers move in from the west.

3 PM Friday – Scattered showers will be possible.

A cold front will move into the area late Friday into early Saturday.  This will increase our rain chances.

Midnight Friday – Showers move through.  Rainfall could be locally heavy.

7 AM Saturday – The rain moves east.

Noon Saturday – Sunny skies prevail.  Watch the moisture to our north moving south.

6 PM Saturday – The moisture moves in from the west-northwest.  There could be some light snow showers across parts of the area.

10:30 PM Saturday – Snow flurries will be possible, especially across the higher elevations.

6 AM Sunday – Skies clear.

8 AM Sunday – High pressure builds in with a lot of sunshine.  Cooler Temperatures.

7 AM Monday – Our next system approaches with a chance of rain late Monday into Tuesday.
