Southeast Drought Continues, Worsens…

Happy Thursday everyone! Brian here, taking over the blog for a night. One of our big weather stories of late has been the lack of rainfall. As of publishing this, our yearly rainfall deficit is 7.34″. This deficit will continue to grow as we’ll see minimal rain chance in our 7 day forecast. (60% tonight, but then 20% next Wednesday and Thursday). This problem hasn’t been isolated to the Tri-Cities and southwest Virginia.
