And with temperatures set to drop below 35 degrees, the Salvation Army will be putting out the white flag for those that need to come in out of the cold.

The Salvation Army said they are gearing up for a busy winter season of giving folks more than just a warm bed.

In addition to feeding the homeless, the Salvation Army will also give those in need access to hot showers and laundry services.

The white flag program will run through the winter and will be open anytime the outside temperature drops below 35 degrees.
