Johnson City, TN (WJHL) – In just 3 hours Wednesday night, WJHL viewers pledged more than $38,000 to fire victims in Sevier County, Tennessee.
The American Red Cross of Northeast Tennessee will use the money to help meet immediate needs of people who lost most of their belongings in the fires.
Volunteers answered non-stop phone calls from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on News Channel 11 and ABC Tri-Cities.
