Ripley’s Aquarium in Gatlinburg reports that all the animals are safe. Aquarium had to evacuate yesterday due to the smoke from the wildfire. The aquarium’s general manager told WATE that they took safety measures ot make sure the animals were not harmed or suffered from smoke inhalation. According to WATE, Ripleys is built on bunker and had power at the time of the evacuation. The aquarium said that all the attractions would be closed until the evacuation is lifted. They say there is a team of marine biologists and life support experts with the animals now.
