Four Greene County Sheriff’s Office K-9’s receiving new protective vests

GREENE COUNTY (WJHL) – Several officers who serve the people of Greene County will soon have some extra protection.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office says four of its K-9’s will soon receive a bullet and stab-protective vest.

Ares, Duke, Ren and Sig are able to have the vests thanks to donations from the non-profit, “Vested Interest in K-9’s.”

The sheriff’s office says this is a huge help because it currently doesn’t have vests for its K-9’s.
