ETSU Bucs thankful for a much improved 2nd season, but still work ahead

JOHNSON CITY — One team feeling pretty good on this Thanksgiving day is the ETSU Buccaneer football team, which ended their season with a victory this past weekend.

The Bucs upset 18th ranked Samford to finish (5-6) on the season.
This time last year ETSU also ended the year with a win, but they were (2-9) after their first season back in 13 years.
They are still not where they want to be, but they can tell things are headed in the right direction.
Coach Torbush went on to say this season and Saturday’s upset victory will help the program when it comes to recruiting.
