RICHMOND, Va. (AP) – Tim Kaine says he won’t run for president in four years. The former Democratic vice presidential nominee
said he’s happy with his current role as a senator from Virginia and won’t run for president in 2020. In an interview with The
Associated Press on Thursday, Kaine said he’s already preparing for a re-election campaign for the Senate in 2018. The 58-year-old
says he wants to serve in the upper chamber for as long as he’s healthy and the voters of Virginia, and his wife, allow him.
