Johnson City Krispy Kreme celebrates five year anniversary

JOHNSON CITY, TN (WJHL) – On Tuesday, the Krispy Kreme location in Johnson City will celebrate a milestone.

The store will celebrate its five-year anniversary and they are pulling out all of the stops.

They will be offering one dozen glazed donuts for only five dollars.

General manager Bill Avery said, “I would just love to see everyone out there tomorrow and help celebrate our five year anniversary here in Johnson City. We just look forward to a great wonderful day tomorrow. “

The Krispy Kreme Cruiser will be on display from 9 am until 2 pm. The cruiser is a 1960 Flxible Starliner. It was originally a private tour bus from Los Angeles. It is decked out with a complete outfit of Krispy Kreme themed furniture and fixtures.

People are invited to come and take a tour of the bus.

Folks can come out and see the bus and can also snag a sweet deal on a dozen of the chain’s signature product.

Avery said he looks forward to serving Johnson City for many years to come.
