One killed, three injured in Highway 70 crash in Greene Co.

GREENE COUNTY, TN (WJHL) – One person was killed and three others were injured in a crash on Highway 70 Thursday.

According to a THP crash report, a 2009 Ford F150 was traveling northbound on Highway 70 when it went off the road and into a ditch.

The truck then continued up an embankment, causing the vehicle to rollover onto the driver’s side. The truck then continued traveling northbound and slid onto Highway 70, crossing the center line and hit a 2007 Ford F450.

The driver of the F150 was identified as  Michael O. Edwards, 27, of Chuckey, Tenn. Edwards was killed in the crash.

Also in the F150 were two passengers — ages 3 and 5 — who were injured in the crash.

The driver of the F450 was identified as Jeffrey Ray Rash, 52, of Bristol, Tenn. He was injured in the crash.
