GREENEVILLE, TN (WJHL) – A Jonesborough man was sentenced to 42 months in prison Thursday after pleading guilty back in June to a charge of being a felon in possession of two firearms.

According to a Greeneville federal court news release, Benjamin Harold Hall, 35, was sentenced by Judge Pamela L. Reeves.

In the release, Hall’s firearms were found when he was arrested by officers following an August 2015 domestic altercation at his home in Jonesborough.

Federal law makes it a crime for anyone convicted of a felony to possess a firearm or ammunition.
