KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Country music star and hall of fame member Kenny Rogers will be stopping in Knoxville during his farewell tour.
Rogers announced last year that he is retiring from touring. The singer hopes to spend more time with his wife and children.
“In my book I wrote, ‘There’s a fine line between being selfish and being driven,’ and I think I crossed that line a lot when I was younger,” Rogers said. “And I didn’t get a chance to spend a lot of time with my older boys and I regret that now.”
Tickets for “Final World Tour: The Gambler’s Last Deal” will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. The concert will be at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium on March 3, 2017.
