UNICOI COUNTY, TN (WJHL)- If you live in Unicoi County here is a list of local contested races you will find on your ballot, these races will vary depending where you live in the county.

Erwin Alderman
Voters in Erwin will elect two of these candidates.

  • Gary W. Edwards – current vice mayor – incumbent
  • Rob Martin
  • Wayne Morris
  • Sue Jean Wilson – incumbent


Erwin Wine in Retail Food stores referendum
Voters in Erwin will have two options:

  • For legal sale of wine at retail food stores in Erwin
  • Against legal sale of wine at retail food stores in Erwin

Unicoi Mayor

  • Kathy Bullen
  • Johnny Lynch – current mayor / incumbent


Unicoi Alderman
Voters in Unicoi will elect two of these candidates.

  • Douglas Hopson – current vice mayor / incumbent
  • Jeff Linville – incumbent
  • Jonathan Clint Miller
  • John W. Mosley

Unicoi Alderman
Voters will elect one of these candidates to fill the unexpired term of former alderman Phillip Hensley, who resigned from the board earlier this year.

  • Roger Cooper
  • Billy R. Harkins, Jr.

Unicoi Wine in Retail Stores Referendum

Voters in Unicoi will have two options:

  • For legal sale of wine at retail food stores in Unicoi
  • Against legal sale of wine at retail food stores in Unicoi

 

U.S. House – Tennessee District 1

  • (R) Phil Roe– incumbent
  • (D) Alan Bohms
  • (I) Robert D Franklin

Dr. Phil Roe is the incumbent seeking his 5th term in Congress. He is a physician from Johnson City. According to Alan Bohms’ campaign website, Bohms lives in Mohawk, TN and is the executive director of the Volunteer Firefighter Alliance.
