Who is on your ballot in Johnson County

JOHNSON COUNTY, TN (WJHL) – If you live in Johnson County here is a list of local contested races you will find on your ballot, these races will vary depending where you live in the county.

TN House – District 3 – represents parts of Sullivan County,  parts of Carter County, and Johnson County

  • (R) Timothy Hill – incumbent
  • (I) Gary Kawula

Hill was first elected 2012 and is seeking 3rd term. He is currently the House majority whip. Gary Kawula is an Army veteran running for office for the first time.  Click here to read the story we did profiling the two candidates.

  • U.S. House – Tennessee District 1
  • (R) Phil Roe– incumbent
  • (D) Alan Bohms
  • (I) Robert D Franklin

Dr. Phil Roe is the incumbent seeking his 5th term in Congress. He is a physician from Johnson City. According to Alan Bohms’ campaign website, Bohms lives in Mohawk, TN and is the executive director of the Volunteer Firefighter Alliance.

  • Lawrence C. Keeble – incumbent
  • Kevin Parsons

Mountain City Alderman

Voters in Mountain City will elect two of these candidates

  • Jerry Jordan – incumbent
  • Bob Morrison – incumbent
  • Jason Panganiban
