Jury selection begins for man accused in 2014 murder

WASHINGTON COUNTY, TN (WJHL) – The trial of a man accused of gunning down a former King University student is set to begin Wednesday.

Jury selection began around 1 p.m. Monday inside a Washington County courtroom in the trial of Jamarcus Jackson.

Jackson faces charges of first-degree murder and attempted murder.

Investigators said Jackson killed Deshaun Greer, 24, and wounded three others when he opened fire in the parking lot of a Johnson City restaurant back in March of 2014.
