Dozens in Rogersville run for JT Brooks’ fundraiser

ROGERSVILLE, TN (WJHL) – Dozens in Rogersville joined for a charity run at the East Rogersville Baptist Church to support hometown hero, JT Brooks.

The Fight for 5-5k kicked off Saturday morning as runners donated their time and money to help support JT’s “Help Hope Live Fund.”

Over 100 people took part in a run thajt-brookst raised over $2700 towards his treatment and recovery in Atlanta.

“His condition and that accident was terrible but we just want to love on him and it’s awesome to see this many people come together just to love and support his family and encourage them,” Organizer, Jason Royston said.

Saturday, JT’s rehab center took him on a hunting trip, the first time he’s been able to practice one of his favorite hobbies since the accident back in May.
