BRISTOL, TN/VA (WJHL)- The Birthplace of Country Music is asking for your help in making a summer tradition even bigger.
The Birthplace of Country Music and Believe in Bristol applied for a Levitt Amp grant where 15 nonprofits will each receive $25,000 to produce their own concert series.
BCM leaders said the money would be used to expand the “Border Bash” that happens six weeks of the summer in Bristol.
“It will increase our Border Bash concert series that we do in the summer up to 10 weeks, and it’ll also help us bring in maybe a little more well known artists,” Leah Ross, executive director for the Birthplace of Country Music said.
They need as many online votes as possible to make it to the next round. You can vote for BCM here: http://levittamp.org
