CARTER COUNTY, TN (WJHL) – A second assault trial for a man charged in a 2014 Carter County murder ended in a conviction on the lesser charge of reckless endangerment in a Carter County courtroom.

Anthony Lacy, who is awaiting trial for the murder of a Roan Mountain man from July 2014, was accused of aggravated assault in a separate case.

On Tuesday, he was convicted of reckless endangerment.

Lacy was also found guilty of reckless endangerment and aggravated assault in an attempted murder trial in late October.

Sentencing for both those verdicts was set for Dec. 6.

Lacy will go to trial in March of next year for the murder of Danny Vance.

Vance was found dead at his home on July 4, 2014.
