BRISTOL, TN (WJHL)- Weeks after Hurricane Matthew, help is still needed in countries like Haiti.
Volunteers with Agape Christian Mission were in Bristol Saturday morning, organizing items for an upcoming garage sale that will benefit those in Haiti.
Director of the mission, Linda Lahr, said they money they raise will go toward food, water, and temporary shelter for families they work with on a regular basis.
“One of our fishing villages that we have work, totally washed out to sea, there is nothing left. The small grass roots missions like ours are working in particular villages where no relief agencies have gotten to yet, even though its 3 to 4 weeks out, there are still villages that have not seen any relief at all,” Lahr said.
That garage sale to benefit Haiti after Hurricane Matthew starts November 10th at 7a.m. off of Volunteer Parkway in Bristol, Tennessee.
