CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – One person is dead and another seriously injured in a crash in Clarksville Tennessee.
The crash occurred on Tiny Town Road just early Saturday morning.
Clarksville officials reported a 2014 red Chevy Camaro driven by 24-year-old Darryl Shuler left the roadway in a curve and then struck a mailbox it then crashed into a tree.
Shuler was pronounced dead at the scene.
His passenger, 19-year-old Marquel McCottry was transported to the hospital before being transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Speed, alcohol and controlled substances are being considered as contributing factors in the crash, according to city of Clarksville officials.
The crash remains under investigation.
