JOHNSON CITY, TN (WJHL) – Johnson City Police arrested a man who allegedly destroyed an out building on Indian Ridge Road.

The police department was called to a home on that road around 1:15 a.m. Friday after Alan Lane was asked to leave several times. Instead of leaving, witnesses say he rammed his car into an out building at the residence and destroyed it.

When police arrived, they found that Lane locked himself in a bedroom at the home and refused to come out.

When police said they tried to arrest Lane, he resisted and began attacking officers.

Once police said they were able to gain control of Lane, they found meth and several other drug paraphernalia on him.

Lane was arrested and charged with aggravated criminal trespassing, felony vandalism, three counts of simple assault, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.

Lane is being held at the Washington County Detention Center on a $21,000 bond.
