WASHINGTON COUNTY, VA (WJHL) – The 18-year-old suspect wanted by Washington County, Va. Sheriff’s Office in the second-degree murder of a Bluff City, Tenn. man turned himself in to sheriff’s office detectives Friday afternoon.
On Monday, dispatchers received a call around 9 p.m. from a woman who said a shooting had happened at a home on Safari Drive.
The shooting victim — Larry Melvin Addair, 41 — was taken to Bristol Regional Medical Center.
Addair died late Tuesday night, according to a news release from Sheriff Fred Newman.
On Wednesday, the sheriff’s office said arrest warrants had been issued for Ferguson.
Ferguson was charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
He was taken to the Southwest Regional Jail in Abingdon, Va., where he was being held without bond.
