WASHINGTON COUNTY, VA (WJHL) – A man shot in Washington County, Va., Monday night died Tuesday from his wounds, according to the Washington County, Va., Sheriff’s Office.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, a call came into dispatch around 9 p.m. from a woman who said a shooting had happened at a home on Safari Drive. The shooting victim was taken to Bristol Regional Medical Center.
That victim was identified Wednesday morning as 41-year-old Larry Melvin Addair, of Bluff City, Tenn. Addair died late Tuesday night, according to an updated news release from Sheriff Fred Newman.
According to WCVASO news release issued Wednesday afternoon, arrests warrants have been issued for Griffen D. Ferguson, 18, of Bluff City.
Ferguson has been charged with second-degree murder of Addair, and use of a firearm while committing a felony.
According to the release, Ferguson is still at large and sheriff’s office officials are asking for the public’s help in locating him.

“At this time, the motive appears to be drug related,” Newman said in the release.
