Cap the Gap for Foster Care

Cap the Gap for Foster Care in Sullivan County was founded in October 1994, as an outgrowth of a Junior League of Kingsport project focused on helping to bridge the gap and help to meet needs for children in foster care.

Each year, Cap the Gap works with Sullivan County Department of Children’s Services and seeks the help of local sponsors and volunteers to fill the Christmas wish list of every foster child in Sullivan County. Typically, 150 or more children are served.

Kristen Claybaugh from Cap the Gap joins us to talk about the organization and how you can help them this holiday season.  For more information, check out their website or Facebook page.
