BRISTOL, TN/VA (WJHL) – This weekend filmmakers from over 20 countries are converging on the stateline in Bristol.
Bristol’s 2nd Push International Film Festival kicked off Friday. Over 70 feature length and short films are on display in multiple venues across town.
“The Paramount Pictures alone people are just like oh it’s the paramount but it was actually a paramount studio, original theater and one of only five in the country. we are a community that celebrates our heritage and culture and this is just another aspect of our heritage,” Associate Director for Believe in Bristol, Maggie Bishop said.
There were over 190 films submitted to the festival. The viewing wraps up around 4 p.m. Sunday.
