Pure Foods temporarily shuts down for research development, restructuring

SULLIVAN COUNTY, TN (WJHL) – Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development officials confirmed Pure Foods has temporarily shut down.

According to Clay Walker, Pure Foods has temporarily shut down for research development and product development, as well as some internal restructuring.

Walker said he was notified of the shutdown on Tuesday night.

He called the shut down a road bump and added that he was confident the company would make great contributions to the area in the future.
