PINELLAS COUNTY, FL (WJHL) — A former University of Tennessee Football player from the Tri-Cities is serving a jail sentence in Florida.
The Sheriff’s Office said he was arrested as part of an operation targeting men who sought out under-age girls on the internet for the purpose of engaging them in sexual activity.
Last Friday, Crowder pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful use of a two-way communications device and was ordered to serve two months in the Pinellas County Jail.
After that, Crowder will be on probation for three years, court documents reveal.
He was an offensive lineman for the Vols from 2011 until 2015.
