UNICOI COUNTY (WJHL) – The streets of downtown Erwin were packed Saturday with people enjoying the second day of the Unicoi County Apple Festival.
The festival is celebrating its 39th year.
This weekend’s event included more than 350 arts and crafts vendors, three food courts, live entertainment, and events for the kids.
One merchant said she has set up shop for the past ten years because of the atmosphere and the people.
“They’re always friendly. They’ve always got a smile. And we’ve made lots of friends,” said merchant Pat Rader. “It’s just a family – you can bring your kids, and you can bring your strollers.”
The Unicoi County Apple Festival wrapped up Saturday evening at 8 p.m.
