ROGERSVILLE (WJHL) – A Hawkins County football player paralyzed after a scrimmaged revealed a huge improvement in his recovery Tuesday night.
JT Brooks revealed on his twitter page @Jater5 that he was able to move his left big toe.
The tweet reads, “Update: I moved my left big toe today.”
Brooks was injured during a scrimmage at Cherokee High School in Rogersville back in May.
He was paralyzed from the chest down.
He’s currently receiving treatment in Atlanta.
