Northeast TN – Local high schools are helping Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee increase food supplies through the 9th Annual Student Food Drive. In partnership with WJHL and Hardee’s this month-long hunger campaign runs from September 20th through October 25th.

Schools will create an online video, and the schools receiving the most online votes for their video will win a cash prize. The videos will be posted on Tuesday, September 20th.

The top two schools collecting the most food in their size division have the chance to win $500 and $250.  Each school receives $125 for participating and those collecting 3 lbs. per student are eligible for an additional $125.
