BRISTOL, TN/VA (WJHL) – The 16th annual Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion Festival made its way through Downtown Bristol this weekend.
Festival goers had a little bit of a cooler stroll through downtown for the festival’s final day. Twenty stages filled downtown with music genres ranging from bluegrass, country and more.
Bristol Chamber CEO, Beth Rhinehart said after looking at the streets of downtown this weekend, the economic impact is clear.
“If you look at the ticket cost that people spend to spend a weekend here or even a single day, and then all of the money that is spent in the shops, and the hotels. every year that we do this you see more and more that comes back in return,” Rhinehart said.
Rhinehart estimates over 50,000 people attended the festival.
