ETSU Pep Rally to kickoff Bucs at Bristol football game

PINEY FLATS, TN – Food City is excited to host a special ETSU Pep Rally to kick-off the historic Food City Bucs at Bristol football game.

The event will take place in the parking lot of the Piney Flats Food City on Friday, September 16th from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

In celebration of this historic event, the Piney Flats Food City will feature a special one-day sale. ETSU Head Football Coach, Carl Torbush will be making a special appearance to sign autographs and promote the much awaited Food City Bucs at Bristol game on Saturday at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Members of the ETSU Dance and Cheer Teams, Chris & Amy Lynn of WJHL Daytime Tri-Cities and Food City Registered Dietitian Elizabeth Hall will also be present, along with WJHL’s Jurassic Park vehicle and the Food City cold air balloon.

WXSM will be broadcasting live from the event. Fans can also enjoy corn hole, special door prize giveaways and while supplies last – free hotdogs, popcorn, drinks, Mayfield Ice Cream novelties and Gurrnaid Energy Drink samples. For more information, visit us online at foodcity.com.

ETSU, Food City and Coca-Cola will also be sponsoring a Tailgater of the Game contest on Saturday, September 17th at the game.

Judges will circle the parking lots at Bristol Motor Speedway prior to the game in search of the most spirit filled tailgate party.
