Three-star senior cornerback Terrell Bailey of John Ehret High School in Marrero, La., announced Thursday night on his Twitter account that he has committed to Tennessee.
“Blessed to announce that I am committed to the University of Tennessee!! #GBO #Vols #Lockdown,” he tweeted.
The 5-foot-11.5, 175-pound Bailey chose the Vols over scholarship offers from more than 15 schools, including Texas A&M and Ole Miss, giving Tennessee its 25th known commitment for the 2017 class and its fourth from a potential cornerback.
The Vols also have received commitments from three-star cornerbacks Cheyenne Labruzza and CJ Cotman, along with three-star safety Theo Jackson, who’s being recruited by Tennessee as a possible cornerback or safety.
Bailey is ranked the nation’s No. 485 overall prospect and No. 48 cornerback in the 247Sports Composite for the 2017 class
