“Memorabilia Mecca” store opens at BMS for the Battle at Bristol

BRISTOL, TN (WJHL) –  The Speedway World Store at Bristol Motor Speedway has just reopened as what they are calling a “Memorabilia Mecca” for college football fans that are coming from all over country to see the upcoming Battle at Bristol football game between the Tennessee Volunteers and the Virginia Tech Hokies.

From hats, shirts, jackets, posters and more, the store has a Vols section, a Hokies section as well as a Battle at Bristol section and of course there will still be classic Bristol Motor Speedway items as well. It took speedway staff just over a week to get all of the merchandise loaded and stocked into the store.

Merchandise Manager, Greg Cole hopes that when customers see the store, they are in awe.

“Having that jaw dropping factor of this is a race track, did not expect to see all of that product in there. We have years of experience with NASCAR but understanding what the college fans would want, took a lot of learning,” Cole said.

The Memorabilia Mecca will be open through the football game. If you’re looking for gear on Friday and Saturday, make sure you have your Battle at Bristol ticket handy.
