Three arrested in Bristol, Va. on solicitation of prostitution charges

BRISTOL, VA (WJHL) – Bristol, Va. Police Department officers arrested three people on charges related to solicitation of prostitution.

According to a BVAPD news release, officers arrested Donny A. Moore, 62, of Bristol, Va., on June 30, after he reportedly solicited an undercover detective and offered to pay him $10 to perform a sexual act.

Moore was released from jail on bond.

On Wednesday, Laurn R. Beckner, 49, of Glade Spring, Va., was arrested after he reportedly offered to pay an undercover officer $60 for various sexual acts.

Beckner was released from jail on bond.

On Thursday, officers arrested Matthew F. Baker, 35, of West Jefferson, N.C., after he allegedly offered an undercover officer $20 for sexual acts.

Baker was being held in jail on $1,000 bond.
