Three-star senior athlete CJ Cotman of Clearwater (Fla.) Central Catholic High School announced Wednesday night on his Twitter account that he has committed to Tennessee.
The 5-foot-10.5, 173-pound Cotman chose the Vols over scholarship offers from more than 30 other teams, including Notre Dame, North Carolina, Ohio State and Ole Miss, giving Tennessee its 21st commitment for the 2017 class and its third in the past two days.
Four-star defensive tackle Breyon Gaddy and three-star defensive tackle Brandon Gaddy, twin brothers from Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School in Virginia Beach, Va., committed to the Vols on Tuesday afternoon.
Cotman, who’s being recruited by Tennessee as a defensive back, is ranked the nation’s No. 367 overall prospect and No. 5 all-purpose back in the 247Sports Composite for the 2017 class.
