Huey Stanley’s family protests Gardner’s not guilty verdict

SULLIVAN COUNTY, TN (WJHL) – Huey Stanley’s family set up a protest in front of the Sullivan County Justice Center against Zachary Gardner’s not guilty verdict.

Huey Stanley was stabbed to death by Zachary Gardner in March 2015 in the parking lot of the Kingsport YMCA, all over an altercation on the basketball court. Gardner was found not guilty in Sullivan County Court

On June 23 we introduced you to Huey Stanley’s family: Stanley family stunned after not guilty verdict in Gardner stabbing case.

They feel that Huey was murdered and that Gardner was not acting in self defense. They are now seeking the public’s help.

“We just want justice we want someone to hear this case and re-look over it and reread it and see what we see and see what happened to give my son a new trial,” said Julie York, Huey Stanley’s mother.
