Power restored to hundreds after car wreck in Washington County, TN

WASHINGTON COUNTY, TN (WJHL) – Nearly, 1400 people in the Austin Springs area of Washington County were without power Monday morning after an outage that was caused by a wreck.

Since then, all the power has been restored to those who live and work along the East Oakland Avenue, however, the road is still closed as a tree service crew is still on the scene trying to clear up the scene.

As a result of the wreck, officials had to shut down East Oakland Avenue between East Ninth and Woodland, because of a tree blocking the road.

No one was injured in the crash.
