Hannah Segrave’s 2016 Olympic bid comes to an end

BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND- Milligan track star Hannah Segrave competed in the British Championships (United Kingdom Olympic Trials) Saturday with a trip to the Olympic Games on the line.

Segrave would race in the 4th heat of the Women’s 800 meter run and would finish 4th in that heat in a time of 2:07.09. That time was not fast enough to move her to Sunday’s finals, ending her Olympic bid.

The trip was still a historic one for the soon to be senior. Segrave was the first Milligan track and field athlete to compete at any Olympic Trials for any country.
