TRI-CITIES, TN (WJHL) – Are you an innovative leader and a great speaker? East Tennessee State University and Eastman are looking for a few great thinkers to speak at IDEAcademy this September.
If selected, you’d share the stage with keynote speaker, entrepreneur and author – Randi Zuckerberg. She’s the founder and CEO of Zuckerberg Media – a boutique marketing and production company.
Randi is also the sister of Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Before creating her own company, Randi created and ran marketing programs for Facebook from 2005 to 2011. She wrote, Dot Complicated, a New York Times bestseller that follows her personal journey and her thoughts on technology’s impact on our lives.
IDEAcademy is a free, multi-day event that will feature thought leaders in the world of innovation and leadership. This year’s theme is, “Leading Innovation and Change”.
Organizers hope to find 12 speakers from various disciplines and industries to present 20-minute talks.
If you think you have what it takes to speak at this event, apply at www.IDEAcademy.com by July 15. There is no fee. Those who are selected to speak will be notified no later than August 15.
IDEAcademy will take place at Eastman’s Toy F. Reid Employee Center in Kingsport, Tennessee, or one of satellite events held at The Foundation in Bristol, Tennessee and Millennium Center in Johnson City.
According to a release, IDEAcademy is part of an ongoing leadership development series endowed by Eastman to provide free, world-class leadership training to our communities.
