Farm To Table Events

Farmers markets offer a variety of locally raised fruits and vegetables. This Saturday, not only can you get your shopping done, you can also learn how to put those ingredients together.

Chef John Bryant from Gourmet & Company will have a live cooking demonstration to show you how to use local produce. He, along with Lexy Close from with Rooted In Appalachia, is here to tell us more about what they have planned.

Then, onto the next course

Heirloom tomato salad with vegetables, local cheese and buttermilk pesto dressing

Mains (choice of):

Wood grilled Southeast Family Farms Beef Coulotte Steak, local starch and veg, House A-1 steak sauce

Local turnip, radish, smoked bacon, foraged mushrooms, arugula, spring herb pistou

Jilton Vegetarian

Regional heirloom grains, local vegetables, citrus panko fried local goat cheese, Saba

Fried local peach hand pie

Candied pink peppercorn

Star anise ice cream

Price is $60.00 per person. Optional wine pairing available.
