Elderly woman found dead under Mississippi home was electrocuted, autopsy says

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The autopsy for the elderly woman found under her house is complete.

The Mississippi State Medical Examiner says Louise Baker’s, 78, death was accidental by electrocution.

The Jackson Police Department responded to 1044 Wynwood Street in reference to a female under a house on Sunday, May 29, 2016.

The body was later identified as Baker. She had been reported missing earlier that day by relatives.

There were no signs of trauma or evidence that she had been transported.

JPD has completed this investigation due to the results of the autopsy.
