Trial for man accused of kidnapping, hog-tying ex-wife set for Nov. 16

WASHINGTON COUNTY, TN (WJHL) – A man accused of hog-tying his ex-wife in her home last December appeared in Washington County Criminal Court on Monday.

Luis Olivera is charged with aggravated kidnapping and false imprisonment.

In court Monday, a judge set his two-day trial for Nov. 16.

Olivera’s bond still stands at $150,000.

Police arrested Olivera in Memphis, Tenn. last December after his ex-wife was found hog-tied face down inside her Washington County home.
