VIDEO: 7-year-old ‘In Your Corner’ showing off race simulator at BMS

BRISTOL, TN (WJHL) – One race fan at Food City Race Night Friday proved he knew his stuff when it came to racing — on a race simulator that is.

7-year-old Hunter Michael Williams, wearing a Greg Biffle shirt and backwards baseball hat, decided to give our News Channel 11 photographer a tour of the Cheez-It simulator.

“You can drive in it and play a video game of racing,” Williams said. “HunterWilliamsThe driver’s seat is my favorite part and Cheez-It’s are another favorite of mine.”

Taking his seat in the car, Williams issued a disclaimer before starting the game.

“I’m not too much of a good player, so I’ll try my best, folks,” he said. “Now watch me play.”

Williams said he and his family come to the races often, and will be attending the race tomorrow.

“We sure do come a lot,” he said. “A long time ago, the first time, I didn’t like it. But now I’m starting to like it.”

When our photographer asked him if he wanted to drive race cars when he’s older, Williams said he’s got another profession in mind.

“I want to be a police driver,” he said.
