SCOTT COUNTY, VA (WJHL) – Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation’s Wytheville Field Office and the Scott County Sheriff’s are investigating the circumstances around a woman being found along Route 65 in the county’s Clinchport community on March 30.
According to a VSP news release, Sirena L. Flint, 35, of Dickenson County, Va., was found at approximately 2:30 a.m. in a ditch along the road.
Flint was taken to the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, where she died April 4.
According to the release, Flint’s body was taken to the Office of the Medical Examiner in Roanoke for an autopsy and examination.
VSP is investigating the incident as a suspicious death and it remains ongoing.
No arrest or charges have been made, according to VSP.
