Lawmakers file complaint against state Rep. Lynn following DVD distribution

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Democratic lawmakers at the state Capitol claim they are working in a hostile environment because of a DVD handed out by a republican lawmaker.

Representatives John Ray Clemmons, Barbara Cooper, and Johnnie Turner filed the complaint Tuesday against Republican State Representative Susan Lynn on Tuesday.

DVD as you can tell by the cover clearly demonstrates the message that all mosques are breeding grounds for terrorists, and then refers to them as war factories,” said Clemmons.

Rep. Lynn’s office distributed the DVD through mailboxes to all lawmakers.

The Representative told News 2 that it was not her DVD, but that a constituent gave it to her and asked her to hand it out.

News 2 will have much more on this story, including what was on the DVD, Tuesday at 5 p.m.
