TRI Food Truck Rodeo draws large crowd

KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) — Food trucks from all over the Tri-Cities rolled into Kingsport Saturday afternoon.

The TRI Food Truck Rodeo took place in conjunction with the 2016 Carousel Fine Craft Show & Brass Ring Gala.

The show started at 10a.m., at the Farmers Market on Clinchfield Street.

Foodies had the opportunity to try all kinds of food like Caramel apple nachos, Kimchi quesadillas, and jerk chicken.TRUCK2

Owner of “Just Write” food truck, Ryan Rowlett said the rodeo is great way to get exposure for his business,  and also a way to interact with the other food truck owners in the area.

“We all know each other,” he said. “There are groups on Facebook and we all try and get together to talk about what we are doing next.”
