Sex offender arrested at in-home daycare in Clarksville, Tenn.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A wanted sex offender who has been on the run for 18 months was arrested at an in-home daycare in Clarksville, police said.

Authorities traced Christopher Dlubac to a home located in the 1400 block of Buchanon Drive.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered a daycare operating out of the home.

Authorities said Vanessa’s Little Ones Childcare provides care to seven children. Four of those children were present at the home at the time of the 38-year-old man’s arrest.

At the time of his arrest, Christopher Dlubac was wanted by the Tennessee Department of Correction and the Clarksville Police Department for a sex offender violation, probation violation and theft of property.

He now faces additional charges for three violations of the sex offender registry, failure to report his current address, residing with minor child and being present at a daycare, in addition to drug charges.

His bond was set at $105,000.

Authorities are also investigating the operators of the daycare.
